got this book on a flight from hawaii back to PA, started and finished it before our layover. this book and rebecca by daphne du maurier are my two all time favorite books. it was so amazing and in a way reminded me of where the red fern grows however, that didn't keep me as entertained as this. Enzo as amazing, as is all the characters in this book!

i am 39 and i dont read at all . i took a holiday and got the book for the flight . i finished the book in 3 days i couldnt put it down. i have a soft spot for this as i have 2 golden retrievers 8 and 7 1/2 cried and laughed . wow i loved this story r.i.p enzo

Bought the book yesterday, finished it tonight . . . spell binding! If you are a dog fan and a racing fan, it is an incredible combination of the two! I cried but I knew I would . . . couldn't get past that. Excellent book!

I read the book in two nights. It was one of the most uplifting, amazing books I have read in a long time. I have always thought my Scruffy was a human trapped inside a dog's body. I too did not want to put the book down after finishing it! I gave it back to my friend Ruth and felt like I was giving away a piece of myself. Everyone should read 'The Art of Racing in the Rain!'
I don't think they should make it into a movie. The passion, love and emotions will be lost on the big screen.
