Yes a responsible conservation efforts is needed to protect these beautiful places. Most of them are safe 'cus they don't have huge tourist influx, but places like Nainital lake needs protection as the water is very dirty due to too much of tourism. The famous Pushkar Lake has dried up in Rajasthan.
