@AbsoluteScene101 wow ur so lucky wish i could do this

i don't think all the tension was over "you don't believe in our god!" but more over "seriously, dude, we're all making an effort...whether you think it's bollocks or not, play along!" That's what role-playing is all about, putting yourself in someone elses shoes, turning yourself into another person/creature/being...it's all good fun. Granted, some people do take it too seriously and can become very offended, but not everyone. Just have some respect is all.

@supermallison this stuff is really hard you know I have been doing since I was 11 it's extremely hard and were not freaks we just have better things to do than sitting on our arses complaining about something we haven't tried yourself so in the words of elm "go back to whatever cave you came from"!!!

@Natala00 Yeah, this shit is harder than it looks. Staying in the character of (generally) a completely different person at all times, remembering the rules, and keeping an eye on what every single other person is doing or saying is very, very difficult. There's no script, and no real second chance if you mess up with what you've said or done.

I agree with Dara. It's one thing to role play but these people are taking it way too far. They're worse than Heath ledger becoming the joker.

This is hilarious :'D

@ChaoticSupernova Nah, they're just role-playing. It might feel surreal the first time somebody attend a LARP event and sees somebody with a straight serious face go on about their madeup gods, but it is no different than being on a film set. The few hours LARP last, you are acting our your character to the best of your ability and the more genuine you come across the greater the immersion for everybody else. But once it is all over, everybody can sit down and laugh about the events of the day.
