Suffolk Punch are good for this work, Low to the ground, but the strength of a shire horse.

the ear muffs is because chain saws are loud and the hard hat it incase a tree falls on them

lol.. im pretty sure he knows more than hawk about horses.. he holds the record for the fastest time crossing the united states on horseback

yep have to agree with drpepper350 on that one, horse to small for the weight of those logs, unless the driver cuts the logs smaller or keeps it under 36 inches or unless he adds another horse, what do i know i worked mostly with belgians BUT any horse can do if the people know what they are doing... But many ppl have no idea what they are doing and sad life of these horses when they are too lame or sore they head off to the auction or heading to the closest slaughter plant.
