WIMS listeners that are used to HEARING Ric Federighi in their cars every morning had a chance to talk WITH Ric in their cars as they dropped off their household hazardous waste at the LaPorte County Fairgrounds. NIRPC officials were impressed at the amount of you that showed up to register to win prizes and say hi to the morning show crew...along with doing something good for the environment.
This upcoming month alone will see WIMS radio broadcasting back from Michigan City High School, an elementary school from MCAS, two new alternative fuel stations from off of I-65, back to the fairgrounds and, of course, EVERY Michigan City football game as the season goes on.
When it comes to live broadcasts that represents the local community, one local station actually listens and reacts to what you want...AM 1420 WIMS. Your one true local station.
