Not much to see here, more to hear. This is a fairly large aggregation of (mostly) Tibicen pruinosa, an annual cicada, singing about an hour before dusk. There are some T. chloromera mixed in sporadically, but they are mostly drowned out. These are NOT the periodical cicadas, but they can be quite loud when there gets to be a lot of them in the trees during the mid to late summer.
