"Here Come The Irish" with John Scully '80.
Is it the campus, with its Golden Dome and Basilica rising above the quads? Or is it the powerful campus liturgies and sacred quiet of the Grotto?
Is it the intense commitment of faculty who ignite our students' learning? Or the thriving community in the dorms, where bonds are developed that link alumni for life? Is it the storied traditions of Fighting Irish athletics?
Or is it something more? Something that can only be described as the spirit of Notre Dame -- a distinctive combination of faith, academics, service, athletics, and community.

I went to ND. I stepped on the field about where Knute Rockne once stood. I looked up and asked "I know I am not suppose to ask for anythig for myself..but just this once, just this time..if you could see your way clear I would like the chance to coach High School football"...four days later I was called by the , then, head coach of Don Bosco HS in New Jersey and asked if I wanted to interview for a coaching job. I ended up coaching there for four years. ND is very special.

My Dad was a ND fan for more than 70 yrs. He asked about ND scores in his WWII letters to my Mom. All 6 kids were @ ND by age 2. He brought Grotto holy water home for Mom when she had breast cancer. This was 1 of his favorite songs. It was played @ the funeral home! His casket was Irish green w/ the Irish blessing inside & bottles of ND holy water next to him-the Perrier of holy water! This song still gives me goosebumps & makes me cry. I love you my Irish Dad & I love the Irish of Notre Dame!!

The most beautiful campus I've ever been too. I can't wait to go back again one day.
I didn't go to ND but I've been a ND football fan forever and wil continue to be.
GO IRISH!!!! Awesome song!
