Yeah, Portal wasn't inspired by this, Portal was developed by the people who made Narbacualr drop. NB was a final project for a group of students who attended Digipen school for game design. Valve saw this final project and hired them to create Portal

why does everyone act like they know stuff when they obviously don't? narbacular drop was a student product from a 4 students. Valve saw there game, and decided to hire these people! the 4 students and all of the valve team created what Portal is now.
