Short composition of Chernobyl accident.

-On April 26 1986 the workers were performing an experiment with the reactor's safety systems.

-In the years following the accident a further 210 000 people were resettled into less contaminated areas, and the initial 30 km radius exclusion zone.

-Number of liquidators swelled to over 600,000 but most of these received only low radiation doses. The highest doses were received by about 1000 emergency workers and on-site personnel during the first day of the accident.

  • @neyann Please dont stereotype all Americans as hypocritical obnoxious assholes. I for one take great interest in other cultures and personally think its cool seeing people speak other languages on here. Its not the fact that they're American that makes them arrogant. Its most likely the age, I bet they are just a bunch of ignorant 12 year old kids.

  • My uncle (a doctor) was there - two trips. He said that immediately after the accident there was a feeling that the earth is burning under their feet - the temperature felt even through the rubber suit Radiological Protection

  • Most of the 100,000 men who went in there to clear out the debris are dead. The same thing is happening in Japan right now.

  • Hele jak se prosím jmenuje ten song?

  • @TaltosGirl People that have worked there on the roof say they can still taste the lead in their mouth.. yuck.. poor people(they used lead to try to seal the gaps but it didnt work, it got too hot and some of the lead vaporized in the sky)

  • @Omdullla At chernobyl, one man died the same day from instant radiationsickness, others that were close also suffered from radiationsickness, they all received such lare doses that most of them died within 14 days, after a horrible sickbed.

  • @ElChileGrande I think he hit those wires

  • Can somebody explain 3:00??? Is it because of radiation or what?
