I sang this song at my grandparents 25th wedding anniversary. That is the first time I saw my grandpa cry. The second time was when my grandmother passed. Now there are no more tears except my own. They are both in Heaven with God and dancing to this song over and over. God how I miss them.

@RedNekLvr22 I don't think that Charly & Wayne made a mistake in releasing "When It's Down To Me & You", as it was my favorite cut from "When Love Is Right."

I listened to their "Live at Gilley's" concernt back in the 80's when they broadcasted in syndication on country stations and she did the upper harmony. Now maybe that's the main one or not. A guy did the one below that. I can't remeber if there were o other females in the background vocal group. Ok, this is menusha I know, but it IS interesting I think. :)

It's funny. When Wayne has the melody on the last two choruses, Charly is obviously doing both harmony parts. But it always made me wonder. If there is such a thing, Which is the "main harmony" if you will? The question sounds obsurd but does make sense, I mean, it's a duet not a trio, so one of the two harmonies is the "background" one, right ? (Cont. on next post)

I'll ehco the thanks for posting. When Love is Right was the first album I ever bought and loved every song, even if a couple of them were a little too charly heavy for a "duet" :) Thanks again....hey don't suppose you could post "A Love to Last Forever"? It was an unrelesed single that shoulda been. They decided to release "When it's down to me and you" instead. A mistake and their part I think. "A Love" was so pretty. The first verse especially was wonderful to listen to.

There is something about the way these two are together.... I love their duet album they did "When Love Is Right", really wish they did more albums together!!!
