We ran out of time a little bit at the AGR, so as promised heres the video we said wed make showing off 8 sites we thought youd find useful as recruiters in the Web 2.0 age.

First up is Mashable.com. Its a blog focusing on Web 2.0 and the innovations within it. It is slanted towards America, but its resources and insights are amazing.

12Seconds.tv is an increasingly popular website, that applys the Twitter model to videos limiting its users to only 12 seconds of broadcast time. Its just been used by Big Yellow Storage to recruit a summer intern.

TwtJobs.com is a Twitter application that allows companies to post up jobs they have available and also allows job hunters to post up their CVs.

RollOnFriday.com is a successful site aimed at those within the legal profession, extending its services beyond the original blog and into tips, jobs boards and forums.

MyLongLunch.com is well known between agencies and is a valuable networking tool, but is extremely useful for anyone within the recruitment industry.

Yasni.com is an interesting site. It allows you to type in the name of anyone that you might be recruiting and it will then search the internet and bring a profile together showing you exactly what theyve been doing with themselves online.

OnRec.com is a great site for up to the date recruitment news and the online version of their magazine.

Tweenjo.com is an original site with the strap line of life between jobs, which translates into a social network for the unemployed.

DigitalRecruiting.typepad.co.uk is the blog by Alex Hens, providing discussions and rants about the digital recruitment industry.

RecruitingFuturology.com is blog run by Matt Alder which covers how and where the recruitment industry is heading.
