This Sprinter operates Frankston to Stony Point only (leased to Metro Trains Melbourne as it's considered part of the suburban network), Sprinters still operate regular services on various V/line routes to/from Melbourne including the Geelong line (first 2 city bound trains each day are always Sprinters + one outbound service in the afternoon), Traralgon line, and others. They also quite often run in multiple car sets.
