  • my father in law told me this same tip.. and it really does fix my slice when I roll my wrists.. and my slice is huge by the way!!

  • So it's not the wrist you are rotating more the forearms. In my opinion, too many pro's confuse amateurs by explaining rotation of the club as coming from the wrists and not the forearms.

    For all you guys that are unsure about the backswing...DON'T rotate your wrists at all. They do hinge like a spring but they never rotate. If you are rotating on the takeaway, go to the driving range and have a go. You will be happily impressed.

    p.s. This is a good drill. Need better explanation.

    Not a massive slicer, but do often feel like I'm not rolling the wrists correctly.
