Review: zCover Silicone Skin for Macbook and wireless keyboard (Apple)

This is a review (over time) of the zCover Silicone skin for the keyboards of the Macbook, Macbook Air and wireless keyboard.

The cover fit very well on the Apple Wireless Keyboard and was easy to put on, however i found it took longer to install on my macbook.

This silicone was cover too thick for me to use - i found myself hitting the keys quite hard to make sure they responded - I probably hit harder then i need to - maybe it was all psychological!! I did find it hard to get used to though and gave up in the end!

I bought this from the Apple Store (Trafford, Manchester).

Since when does the MacBook have the backlit keyboard? I dont ever remember them having it....I know the Pro's have it and I'll be buying one, do you know if the clearguard fits the pro?

@buckmaster1989 i'e had my macbook for about 18 months and it's always had backlit keys - so ever since the unibody aluminium maybe?

I don't know if it will fit the pro - I'm sure there will be one that fits if they are not the same size keyboards! I've never used it since this video - hated the sticky feel!

i've never had a problem with it overheating - it lives on an iLap rain design stand so Maybe that helps
