Today we'll meet with MakerBot operator Kacie Hultgren. Kacie is a scenic designer and uses her MakerBot to make tiny furniture models for her sets. She'll show us the model of a set design she's been working on and tell us why owning a MakerBot has made her life easier. Stay tuned for the R.Maker Adventure at the end of the episode - it's a tribute to someone very special to the stage.

Thank You: Kacie Hultgren

Idea: you need to hold more competitions to win 3d printers, no matter how cheap your AWESOME printers are, I'm a bit (well, a lot) low on money!

Idea: you need more shows about making mechanical parts, like parts for DIY robots.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! This is exactly what I had in mind. Making miniature replicas, except mine are of a science fiction nature (Star Trek, etc). I love what Kacie has done. This is very inspiring and is the excitement I have for this printer. I am planning on getting one!!!! Thanks again.

Really amazing!! Nice set. Have been reading a little about 3-D printers but didn't quite understand their actual use - until now. Now will just have to start working on a good reason as to why I need on! :)
