@BlacktailFA A tank is a tank man

@PressyTCN Completely different vehicles, this has a aluminium hull and a crew of 3 i think, warrior has crew of 3 + 7 passengers, they have the same 30mm cannon though the warrior is getting a massive make over including a fancy new turret with 40mm auto cannon with air burst capability.

@harrygorrod23 -Interesting and are you in the 9/12th at the moment may I ask? I have family in and he has done 15yrs so if you are in he will have met you already. Hope we will all meet up at some point when they get back from this tour, his 2nd plus Iraq & Bosnia. By the way they have the newer Jackal in use out there, the old Reccy tanks are in wraps-training. He also says the grub out there is a bit naff....Lol Be safe!!

Some of us Brits, especially the upper classes and officers in the military, can be snobby, sure. But we were far from incompetent in ww2. We held of an invasion from a militarily superior force. We made up over 50% of the Normandy landings and we played a pivotal role in Africa. If anything, I would say that the modern day British army is much more incompetent, or rather the MOD and parliament is in its funding of the army.

@harrygorrod23 how does this compare to the warrior viecle ?

Will hopefully be an officer in the 9th/12th Royal Lancers in a couple of years and hopefully be commanding one of these and the rest of a troop :) keep up the good work lads you have my 100% respect

@dynmicpara Oh, don't get me wrong, I agree with you wholeheartedly there, I was simply stating that whilst its very well and good to acknowledge the high degree to which this particular British vehicle is camouflaged, there are many aspects of the British armed forces which remain as woefully under-camoflaged as their American counterparts (such as our helicopters for example). I was simply trying to say that I'm sure American units are as well camouflaged as many British units are :)

@eoghan93 We get what we pay for. Tracks are the answer for war ground mobility not wheels.
-
@bxnyfordham V-hulled tracks that can go-cross country at will and be better armored and armed by a ratio of 28% are even better.
-
@scottpd1404 Humvees need to be scrapped in favor of v-hull up-armored M113 Gavins.
Only the US military would be so ignorant as to operate dark green vehicles against light tan backgrounds!
