i personally think the 'best' sessions of music are the ones never recorded and the musicians are raw, fresh, and don't even know whether they're being recorded, they just play and let it all hang out, because when you know you're being recorded you get somewhat self concious, the best is a free for all with everyone lettin loose musically so to speak, with no inhibitions or conscious considerations, so, we've never heard the best music because the best can never be recorded, just think about it
