M6 Motorists at a standstill for miles - the joys of driving in Britain

Motorists were stuck for miles and miles along the notorious M6 on 29/10/10 - road works and numerous road accidents caused by appalling driving brought the motorway once again to a standstill. It was a massive car park. Business was severely affected by congestion. Many motorists failed to share cars adding to the congestion. Quite why anyone would enjoy driving nowadays is beyond me.Even a cyclist like me could have gone past them and I am in the Slow Movement.

Too many Cars,instead of trying to Curtail their use Britain is Promoting Car Ownership while pretending to encourage People to use other alternatives, Greenwash. The more Motorways are Built the more Cars are encouraged to use the Roads,so cancelling out any so called improvements.
