In the Persian culture we respect people with high intelligence and education. About 80 percent of the population including women in Iran are doctors, scientists, lawyers, and so on. In fact, I have cousins that received their first PhD by the age of 24 and I am 18 and currently working on obtaining an MD in Neurobiology. I don't care about his personal life, I care about his accomplishments. Only ignorant people focus on a celebrities personal life because they have nothing else better to do. This is why the education system in the United States has issues. My father's colleague, who is also Persian, started working for NASA at the age of 18 due to the reason that his high school diploma was equivalent to a masters degree in the U.S. Intelligence is far more important than anything else in the world.
