  • Very Funny...But how much vintage 50's wares were destoyed in this?...or did you make replicas that were destroyable?

  • @whoopit1960 Much of it were things that were already on their way out - pre-cracked dishes, things that had irreperable faults to beging with or were broken beyond repair; others were duplicates of items I had that for whatever reason I did not want to bother re-selling, and their "moment in the spotlight" for shock effect (smashing vintage dishes in a sink!) was worth more than what someone would actually pay for a chipped, mismatched dinner plate!

  • Love all your outfits, especially the full skirts. You do a great job as a 50's housewife!

  • @Deedee512000 Thank you Deedee! Full skirts are a blast! Especially when the swirl and make a noise when they do it...

  • what short of lamp is that @0:51????

  • @themamagoatshow I wish I knew! Half-plastic plant, half three-headed lamp, like something out of a horror movie. I have tried to research them and found nothing. I am guessing they were used to decorate chain restaurants in the day, like IHOPs or Bob's Big Boy or Googies, perhaps.

  • The radio would have instructed her to "tune to her local 'Conelrad' station (Continental Radio) for further instruction". The basic conelrad frequencies were around 700 and 1240 Khz, so in

any given location, that's approximately where she would find the signal telling her that the country was under attack.

  • What is that music you play at 6:32? Sounds like George Shearing...

  • i just fucking love this. and i totally dig seeing your place "before"

  • The MSG at 3:02! I once saw an ad in a WWII-era Life magazine for Lowrey's Seasonings which boasted it was "The Flavor Of Hawaii - 100% MSG!"

  • Where did you get all the BEAUTIFUL china?
