Cover of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' song "Hysteric" off of their newest album "It's Blitz". The acoustic version is a bonus track. Tuning is standard, capo on the 1st fret. Very simple, but great song. Enjoy, rate, and comment :)

  • Great job! what are the chords and the strumming pattern? Thank you!

  • @Anw267 Thank you for the kind words! The chords can be found above in the "uploader comments" section as I responded to the same question earlier. I also believe that I commented with the strumming pattern at some point as well, so you can find a more detailed description in that comment. The gist of it though is simply "short-short-long-short-short-long-short-long". I do almost all down strums and play without a pick and find that I get the sound I want that way.

  • what are the last strings you are playing at the end?

  • @lizzBD I posted earlier on how that picking part goes. Click to the last page of the comments and check it out. Its pretty simple. If you need further explanation I can try to break it down more, but check out that explanation first :)

  • What exactly are the chords for the picking part?

  • just kidding i found it!

  • what's the strum pattern?

  • I thought it would be difficult to pull off, but you did a good job making it the version masculine.

  • @sprts8811 ok...here are the exact chord names...just for reference haha

    G, A7sus4, Em7, and Cadd9.

  • @kimheejin78 no problem...ill give you the fingerings exactly as i am playing them :)

    E-A-D-G-B-e

    G : 3-2-0-0-3-3

    A : 0-0-2-2-3-3

    E : 0-2-2-0-3-3

    C : 0-3-2-0-3-3

They are not exactly G, A, E, C...but like I said...variations thereof. I still do not know the fretboard as well as I would like to so I don't know the exact names of the chords, but they definitely have those roots. Good luck!
