    Regarding the music of The Red Danube,it was performed by The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The orchestra leader was Erich Gruenberg and was conducted my the master himself-Miklos Rozsa [in 1977].

  • Rozsa and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra had a very good working relationship. When conducting the score of QUO VADIS as a re-recording there in the 1970s, Rozsa recognized a few players who were part of the orchestra back in 1951, when Rozsa conducted the original QUO VADIS score.
