Myst Online: Uru Live (PC)

My first two days playing Uru Live for the first time. I have to say it looks very exotic, almost as much as Riven was, and is worth playing. Some people have said this was the first MMO game ever released... but that is uncertian. What is unique about it is that this is more about exploring and puzzle solving than leveling up your character.

I find myself to be... distracted by this game. There is news around Youtube that Uru Live is back online and can be played for free. Aparently, they aren't kidding.

at what level do you get to go online???

@Carth0nas1 The game has an odd way of letting you get to the online portion of the game. After getting past the tutorial level, you'll have a book in your private hub (house filled with books) that'll take you to the neighborhood. This is where you'll usually see players but not until you gain access to the linking book that takes you to the Nexus. The Nexus is like a library as well as a server list so you can decide which neighborhood you want to visit.

Hey! Please, i need help with that game. is it realy onlne? Coz i didn´t see anyone there, and...i don´t know what do , i only picked a photo, went to a desert and i found a fat man that was speaking something, i found a simbol of a hand bihind the Van but i don´t know what else a have to do.

It is online but you have to complete the 'tutorial' level first. You won't be able to acess the Nexus without finding the Relto linking book first. This book is located in this desert Age. In order to get it, you must first journey into the cleft (or just a big crack in the ground) that is past the trailer.

@dessertmonkeyjk That's partially correct. To get to Nexus, you can go to your Bevin book and link to Nexus from there. However, you need the KI to be able to use the Nexus.

The Cleft level (one of the few single player areas in Uru Live) has been changed a little bit. At the end you don't get your Relto book, but a page for the four pillars that make up the First Journey. To get to that, one needs to get the power working in the Cleft and then listen to Yeesha's speech.

I waited so long to get this game.

I played uru live, until uru, uru live 2, myst online, pelishard... AND URU LIVE IS BACK AGAIN !

And yes, it's the first MMO ever created.

yea, its actually not a game for the big impression i guess. its more important for the adventure kind of thing.

But you can play it in 3d as far as I know. Then it should rock :D
