Saw this on Saturday morning and it made me chuckle.

BBC presenter/commentator Ed Leigh has a go at the 'Skeleton', a sport where participants must lie face down on a small sled whilst speeding down a frozen track. Looks terrifying.

Taken from "Winter Olympics 2010: Highlights", aired in the UK on 21 February 2010.

If the sound is removed by YouTube I apologise, but the sound is half the fun of watching this clip.

  • Thank you SO MUCH for uploading this! Easily the most impressive, entertaining and comical bit of BBC journalism I've ever seen. HUGE respect for the reporter doing this!

  • that isnt the track used in the vancouver olympics, but that is still totally awesome. nice work.

  • It's the Igls track above Innsbruck, the easiest luge/skeleton/bobsleigh track in the world. GREAT SPORT !! I personally don't even breath down there on the ice it's just the best extreme feeling ever !!!

  • Ed is a brave lad, he also competed in a race in alaska which was a combination of mountain summit boarding followed by being towed by a sno mobile on the flat sections.. 90mph on a snowboard takes major cahunas.. catch an edge on a board and you know about it
