That's right. But I think this is the problem of nationalism and racism, they are always somehow invented, imagined, as a religion. (See Benedict Anderson's "Imagined Communities".)

@ale1980italy I think it means to exclude only foreign invaders. "Thai blood," in this case, means the blood of any person born in Thailand.

What about Thai citizens with no "Thai blood", as Malay-Thai or Burmese-Thai or Indian-Thai?
