I don't remember why the other brother didnt move with the rest of the family. Did he move with his dad? It always bothered me that the mom didnt seem to miss him much.

Yeah, Steven Floyd and there was also the other sister Ruth Ann. I always assumed the two moved with their dad.. Basically they were written out of the show and after that it was if they didn't exist. Similar things happened on other shows like Step by Step and Family Matters, where one of the children just disappeared without explanation.

THis show and the Torkelsons were awesome. Even my mom loved this show. When they aired on Disney, we watched them religiously.

When I caught this series on Disney for the final time in the fall of 1999, it was aired weekdays from 4-5 pm and on weekends still. At the beginning of January 2000, I think broadcasts of the Babysitters Club home movies were put into that weekday hour, which led into Growing Pains and Brotherly Love.

@VaultMasterDBT thanks for the clarification. I know that wikipedia says it continued to air through 1999, but I just don't remember seeing it on Disney channel anymore when it picked up Growing Pains and Brotherly Love in September 1997. I know that those 2 shows took over the monday-Friday time slot where Torkelsons used to be, and I don't remember the show continuing to air on weekends at that point in time. I guess maybe I cut back on watching Disney at that time.

Actually, Disney continued to air this until December 1999, well after they acquired 'Pains' and 'Love'.
