@pada1008 we dont follow vedc law. if we did people would be getting murdered and their toungues cut out. i dont know much about sridhara or narayan maharaja but you also have to place blame on srila prabhupada. he made an error in judgment. he lost control of the situation. he also set up the schools without proper checks and safety against child abuse. ISKON was in trouble well before 1978. the first case of child abuse was reported in 1972 little was done to protect against.

@infoment1 Prabhupada said that Sridara mj is a leader of the severe offenders, along with Madhava and Professor Sannyal. He said that Professor Sannyal was the most advanced of these three because he was "killed by Krishna so he could not make further offense by supporting bogus gurus," and so died soon after 1936. In other words Professor Sannyal was the most advanced of the group because he was killed right away, whereas Sridhara went on supporting bogus gurus for 50 more years. ys

@infoment1 Srila Prabhupada told us that Sridhara Maharaja unauthorizedly selected an acharya and HE INSISTED ON IT and as such he defied the orders of guru, and he caused the breakdown of the matha. He probably felt quite disappointed. So he said "do not commit this same mistake in ISKCON." Except Sridhara commited the same mistake and backed more bogus gurus, he never learnt his lesson, and so SSM made more homosexual gurus and more murders and so forth, SM never learnt the lesson. ys pd

@pada1008 And how do you think SP felt about SSM as a result of what happened in the few years just after the passing of Bhaktisddhanta Saraswati Thakur? SSM was the head of a severe offenders party back in 1936 - 39...ok....but how do you think SP felt about SSM because of this?

@infoment1 Srila Prabhupada gave the whole history that Sridhara Maharaja created a homosexual guru mess in the Gaudiya Matha which got dissenters murdered and this made into horrible newspaper media stories. And after 1977 SM supported the same homosexual guru program that ruined ISKCON. Srila Prabhupada said in 1977 that Sridhara is the founder of the sever offenders party. Are you saying that it is ok to promote homosexuals as gurus and have dissenters murdered, the SM trademark program? ys

@pada1008 I'm looking at the years prior to 1965 because of what you yourself assert i.e that SP thought SSM to be so offensive for what happened in the few years after 1936. But based on SP's affectionate, respectful dealings with SSM in those years (living with him, preaching with him, consulting him about his Gita commentary etc) I think any reasonable minded person would have to conclude that SP didn't think SSM to be offensive at all. Which is a totally opposite idea to what you promote.
