@tehetahatoho his carrer avg. isn't super good or anything so his 3000th hit is because the yankees can buy anyone they want so jeter has hitters who give him more plate apperances at leadoff which makes sense since he's getting old, i hate jeter because he is the most overrated player of all time, thinks he should've made the all star game this year and doesn't come, and his cheating, pretending to get hit by a pitch makes him look like a dumbass

@wesupportsports, stop whining just because Jeter (who has 5 rings) and the Yankees are a good team. He leads the team in career hits as well as hits at the OLD Yankee Stadium. He isn't overrated he is the team captain and his presence in the lineup means a lot for the team. It doesn't matter if you lead off or not because he has a career .312 batting average, he is the only Yankee to get 3000 hits through his 16th full seasons with the Yankees. He does what has to do. Plain and simple.
