  • That counsel is a patriot. People like that douche senator aren't killing a party, they are killing the American political process.

  • This recess allowed time for House Republicans to negotiate with the Bartlet Administration. They proposed a deal where Jed would not fight a Congressional censure in return for no further hearings on the subject. Leo objected, saying a censure would harm the President. He said "I take a bullet for HIM, he doesn't take one for ME!" But Jed agreed to the deal, because he felt he deserved the censure for not disclosing his medical condition during the campaign.

  • OMG I just realized the majority counsel also play Hank on Royal Pains!

  • "Good people hate us"? Straw-manning much?

  • @MikeJames6 Few people are saints, Democrat, Republican, or Independent. But the Republicans have become a malignant force for evil in America.

Have you listened to the Republican debates?

Crowds of Republicans cheering for the death penalty. Good people disagree here, I was on one side for 35 yrs till I changed and have now spent 15 yrs on the other. Execution may be necessary, but is putting a human being to death ever a reason to celebrate?

This is not the American Way.

  • @RobynHarris "A Darker Malady." That would have been a great title for a West Wing episode.

  • Is that Newt Gingrich?

  • The Senator is way I hate the GOP (and people like that in the Dems I despise even more); the counsel is why I can still love the GOP. Those Republicans do exist, and I'm glad the WW writers took a moment to remind us.

  • @Nonsensei436 Infact, if Josh didn't cover for Donna like he did, they both would have been in a lot of trouble and both their careers would be over.

  • @Nonsensei436 No they didn't. Watch Season 3 again. They were in their first date when he found out who she was and he realized that getting involved will be a problem. That's why he cut their 1st date short and took off. But they hooked up again after that. Donna may not have known but Cliff surely knew. So he ethically compromised himself for sex (seeing how he would have known it won't go anywhere once she found out the truth).

  • @plague2005 Actually im pretty sure they slept together before this whole hearing thing got started.
