There are many misunderstandings about symbols that are on Latter-day Saint buildings. The pentagram has historically been used by many civilizations and groups of people for many different purposes and symbolic meanings.

Today, many people do not realize that the pentagram was a Christian symbol long before it was even concieved to represent evil. Should we limit a symbols interpretation by what it has meant to certain groups for the past few decades when it has had so many other meanings over the last few milleniums?

If Christians used the pentagram before it was adopted by others for evil purposes should its meaning to Christians change? Even the cross was a pagan symbol long before it was adopted by Christians.

  • Disinfo, this is lies. All these religious nutjobs are brainwashed. They are all lucifereans, they are all evil. Whatever they say take it as oppossite to what they're saying. The poor dumb fuckers at the bottom of the heap don't realize that the leaders of the church are actually satanists. we can't blame the brainwashed and programmed sheep, they know not what they do

  • @SouthernCross33 Brainwashed programmed sheep? lol. We are all free agents and choose our own path my friend. Disinfo? lies? Where? Would you care to share "the truth" with us? And what of the conspiracy theorists? Brainwashed paranoid programmed sheep? Lizard people living under the earth that feed off human flesh? :)

  • @ChristopherMillz Hmm lizard ppl living off human flaesh you say? You'll have to enlighten me on that tale, i've never heard such nonsense. The pentagram symbol was indeed a symbol of good, but when it's inverted it becomes a symbol of the cults.

  • @SouthernCross33 It's actually a misconception that simply inverting it limits it to becoming evil or "a symbol of the cults", as with other symbols. I encourage you to watch part 2.

  • this guy's just confirming the satanist background of religions and 'government'.

    unbelievable!

  • @juliemyr1 You weren't paying attention were you? The pentagram was used by many other groups before satanists ever thought about it.

  • Star and show images of a star with one point facing up, when that's clearly not a pentagram. That's the difference between a star and pentagram.

  • The star and moon and other symbols such as that have multiple meanings and if they are used in churches they can simply be a part of illustration (example would be european and orthodox churches which are all illustrated inside) I've been in several and there are a lot of biblical stories depicted and such along with small images. These can be interpreted differently. Both as good and evil. That's why I would not judge them. But a pentagram is different. And once again you talk about christian

  • Use it on their holy temples. Same as they could put a swastica on their temples and say that it means eternal life. Yes it does, but not everyone knows that. Most people would associate it with a nazzi swastica and nazzism. That's common sence.

  • The "christian pentagram" you show is a star(1 point up) a pentagram has 2 point up and one point down. The 2 points facing up are for goat's ears, two horizontal for horns and 1 facing forn for his face and beird. That image of goat symbolizes satan. The star you show with 1 point facing up may indeed symbolize early christianity order and have million more meanings. The pentagram has a strong antichtist meaning. Every inteligent person should know that. Therefore christian churches should not

  • Symbols are all man made and they represent what we chose to make of them! But some chose to abuse symbols of peace instead of creating their own symbols. Why? because they wish to make another belief look bad or evil. This is an evil usage in itself.
