Athlon Bacon

Me and my friend cooking bacon on an 11 year old Athlon 1600+ processor. These things do not have an IHS and do not have a thermal limit (cut out that stops the CPU overheating) so it keeps getting hotter and hotter!

Unfortunately the CPU is now dead, we wanted to have a go at blowing it up, but it is non-functioning now :(

A couple of years ago I also had an AMD 1800+ and somehow the cpu fan was failing, so the processor was getting too hot in a couple of minuten and the system wasn't shutting down automatically by overheat protection.... but thanks to coretemp my system was shutting down properly by reaching 80C... ;D
