Hi! Im thinking about buying a fs-6 for my rc-3, but i also want to use it on the dd-7... The dd-7 only uses one channel, like the A.. So my question is: Should I buy one fs-6 and a fs-5U or should I just use one channel for the rc-3 and one for the dd-7? Thank you :)

@ACDCcoverkid In the end I would get the FS-6. Too much is better than not enough, and if you do decide to use the A/B you'll be happy you had the forsight. I am curious as to whether you could run two pedals FS functions at the same time. Let me know how it works out.

I just come into the idea to buy a loop station before christmas, and i see your video and also i visit the website of roland.

I have no idea how the Boss FS 6 works. Do I only need one 1/4 inch cable to connect the FS 6 and the RC loop station just like you did? No other thing should be done?

@heikoyh The only other option is to get a 1/4" Stereo male to a split L/R mono cables and plug them both into the A/B ports....though It sounds like extra cable for nothing though. The FS-6 works for other pedals too.

Does is has to be a Boss footswitch or it could be a footswitch from another brand?

@94dmfp94 It says in the manual not to mix other brands, but they all work. Whether they have any adverse effects on the gear, I don't know.

@tangantribe09 You can! lol. I just tried and it works!! How cool is that? Bear in mind you cant have both a mic in the aux and an instrument in the main input @ the same time.

If I have a 3-channel amp, could I use this A/B footswitch to toggle between A-Crunch, B-Lead and Off-Clean? In other words, can I access all three channels through the footswitch, even though it's designed for two channels?
