Bavarian Beerhouse @ Al Murrays Happy Hour

The Bavarian Beerhouse, situated at 190 City Road, Islington, was picked as 'Pub of the Week' on Al Murray's Happy Hour last Friday 4 April. The popular Friday night show, on ITV1, stars comedian Al Murray as the Pub Landlord who chooses a pub every week to interview. Dressed in traditional Bavarian costume (dirndls), the Bavarian Beerhouse team explained that their aim was to bring Oktoberfest to London and the UK.

Al Murray's Happy Hour was named 'Best New Comedy Entertainment Show' in the British Comedy Awards 2007.
