George Pegram's live performance released on the Smithsonian classic old time cd was perhaps the most amazing clawhammer banjo performance of all time. I've never heard anything to match it and I listen to a lot of clawhammer banjo. It's go the whole package.

@UncleMacJug Yeah, I love that recording. George Pegram was a fantastic two-finger style banjo picker from Oak Ridge, NC about 20 minutes from where I grew up. I've got some rare field recordings of him playing for the Preacher that I ought to post.
