My visit to the MHLR Feb 2010

Here's my video of the events! Mr.C of the MHLR kindly invited me to come over for a steaming. I took River Alde and River Butley by train, tube and car all the way to cornwall. First we regauged the tender using drinking straws! River Alde's chunter pipe can be clearely heared. Mr. C's steam whistle on his regner willie wasmaking a rather odd warbling sound which can be heared.
I then set up a special project which can be seen at the end of the video. I have been experimenting with different music types etc, in order: Holberg Suit- Greig, Children of the Regiment and Funiculi Funicula.
I have plenty of blooper footage so another video should follow shortly.

Fantastic video there Mr Bond. I must try that sideways view angle, I liked that a lot. Lovely line as well the MHLR, the more I see of it the more I like it.

@GhostCav Yeah, there is a certain realism that can be achieved by having the camera pointing sideways. Gives a passenger looking out of the window view. The MHLR is a fantastic line to steam on with some impressive gradients one has to keep one's eye on the ball!
