A theory seeks to explain observable phenomeon. (e.g. gravity, germs, evolution, atoms etc.) It is a model which is applied to a large number of facts/ body of knowledge. It is important to note the distinction between a scientific theory and its more colloquial meaning. To date, the best model of explaining the observable change of life over time is the theory of evolution. When people say that evolution is just a theory, they are missing the point.

i fidn it funny how all the opposers of dawkins, science and rationality can come up with is a funny vide (its actually well made) but that effectively destroys the purpose of any academical discussion...which is dawkins' point, and youve sort of proved it.
