As great as Dire Straits were, I don't think most fans are aware of just how amazing Mark's solo albums are. So much fantastic material there. I saw him live in Berkeley Ca a few years ago and he was brilliant. 2 and half hours of sheer musical domination. I'll never forget the thundering outro to Speedway to Nazareth live. He has a goddam good sounding band too by the way.

I'm thinking those 83 dislikes were the result of being totally mesmerized by Mark's amazing finger picking. They must of hit the thumbs down by mistake. Or, could be they just had frontal labotamies.

The only man that knows the guitar inside out and back to front in my opinion no one comes close. classical, rock, blues, jazz, country, that man can play em all. sometimes the all above in one song!
