Vince and the Nighthawks go back to the 1928 Paul Whiteman book (originally featuring Bix Beiderbecke, Frank Trumbauer, and Bing Crosby) for the Willard Robison classic 'T'AIN'T SO, HONEY, 'T'AIN'T SO. Here the band is properly spiritual and properly swinging! Out heroes are Randy Sandke, tp; Randy Reinhart, cnt; Jim Fryer, tb; Mark Lopeman, Dan Levinson, Dan Block, reeds; Alan Grubner, vln; Peter Yarin, p; Ken Salvo, bj, g; Vince, b, b-sax, tuba, voc; Arnie Kinsella, d.   • If you get to NYC some Monday night, please go and see this authentic 11 piece 1920s/early 30s band: the Nighthawks.

    They play at Sofias [221 W. 46th St, NYC] from 8pm-11pm . Theres a dance floor or plenty of seats to just listen and get happy!
