Paula Deen Visits Harrah's Cherokee Casino & Hotel

Paula Deen, two-time Emmy winner and the Food Network's traditional Southern cooking superstar, paid a visit to her full-service restaurant at Harrah's Cherokee Casino & Hotel in Cherokee, NC, on Tuesday, August 30.

Paula Deen made her personal appearance in the lobby area outside Paula Deen's Kitchen after first chatting with Judy Cantrell, a fan from Gainsville, GA, who made the trip with friends to see their favorite celebrity.

Many guests waited in line for over three hours for their chance to meet Paula Deen as she signed autographs and was available for photo opportunities.

Paula Deen's Kitchen, a 404-seat restaurant, is located on the ground floor of the hotel's 21-story Creek Tower. Adjacent to the restaurant is a 1,800-square-foot Paula Deen retail shop offering Paula's cookbooks, spices and food items, cookware, logo wear and gifts.
