@LazarusRemains A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND BE UNITED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BE ONE FLESH (Genesis 2:24), thus you're wrong about there not being a good reason for marriage!
@rivmigrundt The official reason for Christian marriage is love, not sex, yes one shold wait to have intercourse until one is married as this is the sign of the covenant of love that they are forging, but if one had sex before one was married and one was not walking with the Lord Jesus, or even if one was, it does not send them to Hell, if they repent.
@rivmigrundt A household can be of great benefit to raising a child, for example. Family units are probably just natural social developments, that existed long before there were such things as religions. True, there is no reason to marry, but there is no reason not to marry either :-)
It was very interesting to see. I have often wondered why Buddhists get married when it is not forbidden to have sex before marriage. It's the official reason for Christians to be married. Is there anyone who can explain me why?
oh, this is beautiful!
