Fun-Fly-Stick is a miniature Van de Graaff generator. This means that just like any Van de Graaff generator it would require some maintenance. Occasionally it will stop producing static charge and your flyers will fall down lifeless. This type of malfunction calls for cleaning the heart of your wand. The loss of static charge can happen due to lubricant spreading over the belt and rollers or due to infiltration of tiny particles of dust or talcum inside the wand.
