  • Where did you get the protective case for your Blackberry?

  • @babyb360 ebay! the 8520/8530 are the same phone so you can do a search under that. It is called TPU which doesn't get dusty, dirty or catch in your hair. It's smooth like a soft, pliable plastic.

  • I really want this phone! in every review that Ive watched people are saying its a pretty good phone! oh and I was wondering why they don't have the Blackberry curve on the Virgin Mobile Website?

  • @hay3now I'm not sure why it's not on their site but they do still have it available. I think if you look elsewhere on their site you can find it b/c that's how I did recently. I think they are trying to push the Android type phones now more.

  • Why did you use wifi in this video instead of the normal 3G connection? Is there something wrong with the 3G, does it not work well all the time?

  • @brainboob I was on wi-fi b/c I was home and it automatically connects to it when I'm home. If I wasn't home then I'd be on the 3G. 3G is not going to be nearly as fast of course....but what I've learned is that when I was on my phone in NY City it was working just fine....faster than when I am not in the city and on 3G. Maybe more cell towers?? When I'm in a store that blocks phone calls and has bad reception the 3G is slow as anything.

  • And by the way, thanks in part to your thorough responses, I just ordered this phone. It's currently on sale for 79$ at walmart.

Thank you for your thorough replies. You have pretty much convinced me that this is the right phone for me on the virgin mobile plan. I am returning to virgin mobile actually, after being screwed over by t-mobile as a result of some website charging my phone for no reason. T-mobile is overpriced, they charge way too much tax and they do not protect the customer. I hope companies like that collapse down on themselves, I really do.

  • @KristyU2178 THanks

  • I got the bb for $50 on black friday =].
