With Kinect, "you are the controller," as the ads state. Kinect makes a perfect interface to EVL's Scalable Adaptive Graphics Environment (SAGE). With the wave of a hand, scientists can control the size and position of SAGE's windows on large tiled display walls.

you should zoom the view and make the items bigger, should be more easier to select an item. for a reference, check the Minority Report movie and the zoom in gesture.
