Bagpipes... Ahh yes, the old family favorite "Cailleach An Dudain" - or to laymen with no Scots' Gaelic: "The Old Wife of the Mill Dust". Ian Werner plays said ditty once again at the Turlock Junior High School just down the road... and lord have mercy, it was 126°F that day in the central valley.

  • yay! i love how the intense ambient day-time heat coupled with the strenuous nature of a bagpiping session turns me into a sweaty red tomato-faced mess with terrible hair to boot.

  • Wow We need for you to post some new videos. you are Good.

  • very very cool! I always find it interesting watching your videos, and inspirational, because you look like a blond version of myself. I've even had friends ask "Dude, wow, is that you ?" I always have to say....."man I wish I sounded that good" Definately going to be learning this jig.

  • Awesome job mate! Sounds great. Lol, I know how you feel with regards to playing the pipes in hot weather. I'm over in Australia, and wow does it get hot, lol. Keep up the good work mate.

  • Very well played. I love the way you dance around when you're playing too. Gives me something to listen to and look at... lol. You must find it annoying playing with a band and having to keep still all the time... =)

  • Beautiful music! :D I love the chirping sound of the grace notes in this tune. It has a great rhythm too. Thank you for the brilliant upload as always!

    All the best :)

  • Isn't it ironic when someone(Doffdave) tells you all about control with spelling errors i think it is

  • Bapipe player is a program that plays back the tune while you follow along on the music in program and you can control tempo drone volume etc

  • can someone give the sheet music for those tunes

    ?
