Damn that sucks...! How was this even possible?? Comcast's center ice is just limited to 10 hockey channels? WTF! So definitely it means that there is no guarantee that u'll gunna see ur team in every games that they play.. Damn comcast suck on this.

They just did the same thing to the Wings-Coyotes game tonight (Dec 13, 2008). Comcast shows it being broadcast on Game 11...unfortunately I live in SF Bay area as well (San Mateo) and our NHL Center Ice channels are from 461-470 and that means only 10 channels, so apparently I'm SOL for tonight's game.

Comcast, as well as enter Ice, is quite a joke. Sure, 90% of the time they're great. But explain to me why a local team gets hosed. WHY?!?!?! Even in San Diego I get the Ducks games blacked out, despite the feed (SJ or the crappy Ducks). There are SERIOUS issues. And people... this post is meaningless unless EVERYONE forwards it to Comcast. DO IT NOW.
Hmmm...not sure if this is a recent change or not but the Wings-Kings game tonight is Game 12 and previously I'd be out of luck because, like I said below, the NHL game channels are 461-470 (Games 1 to 10). But tonight I see a new channel added, channel 454, which is labeled Game12, and it will be showing the Wings-Kings game. Perhaps Comcast has wised up....

It's about time! We pay good money for this service and it's lame that for more than half the hockey season we got 4 less channels than what we paid for. I'm glad to hear you got to see your game.

thats funny! I live in the Central Valley near fresno and we get channels 457-470 for NHL Center ice. maybe its just an isloated incident.

I wish it were an isolated incident. It's been this way since the beginning of the season. However, the good news is local comcast will air the remaining games (I believe there are 6 left) on channels 1-10, so Sharks fans will not go through this again.
