The evolution of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSOdgmWeS_s

This is a proof-of-concept using free Linux tools. There is more to learn, but this is a gigantic leap. I will follow up with an instruction video explaining how I used these tools to create this video.

TOOLS USED:
* Cheese -- Capture video from a webcam, and audio from an external mic.
* Recordmydesktop -- screencast from the desktop, audio from an external mic.
* HandBrake -- Rip video and audio from a DVD.
* kolourpaint -- Create a jpeg picture.
* avidemux -- Chopping and splicing, resizing and padding videos.
* ffmpeg -- Video format conversion, and adjusting audio and video parameters. Used it to convert the jpeg into a movie with blank audio.
