Part One of the Tribute to our beautiful girl Eisblume. Eisblume went into acute renal failure due to a New Windsor, New York multi-veterinary animal hospital's malpractice and negligence. After surviving acute renal failure, Eisblume lived thirteen more months in chronic renal failure. This is the first part of her heroic story of survival and what she endured the last year of her life.

For fifteen years and three months, Eisblume never gave up - and now it's her time to fly. After viewing Part One, Please go to Part Two by clicking on this link:

  • Thank you for your lovely comment! Eisblume was a dream come true and was loved beyond all love. She gave her all every minute of every day...and would have given her life for her family. I will forever be so fortunate to have had her in my life.Wishing you a Blessed Christmas and may all your wishes become real!

    Blessings,not losses,

    Blumee and me

  • She was a beautiful dog. I was afraid I would be losing my Austrailian Shepherd/border collie this past spring, but she pulled through. An answer to a lot of prayers. I have only had to bury one dog and it was more my parents' dog than mine and she lived a long, good life. It was still so sad. Makes you want to hug your dog that's for sure. I hope you are coping with your loss.

  • I am so happy to read that your girl pulled through her hard time. I hope you have many more happy and healthy years with her. Thank you so very much for writing and for watching our Eisblume. There is never a day that goes by that we don't miss her still.

    Thank you again.

    Always blessings - Never losses,

    Eisblume and Me

  • I cried, it's so sad and my heart goes out to you. it really sucks that the vet made the mistake but at least you held on for her and her for you.

  • Thank you so much for watching Eisblume and for writing such a kind comment.

Eisblume was (and still is) a blessing. We are better because she was in our lives.

Thank you again so very much.

    Always blessings - Never losses,

    Eisblume and Me

  • I'm so sorry for your loss...Eisblume was a beautiful girl. I lost my first shepherd at the negligent hands of a veterinarian. She let my Princess get hit by a car while being boarded at her indoor kennels. My little girl died the next day... she was only 13 months old. Heaven must be a beautiful place with so many animal companions. God bless.

  • She reminds me so much of my beloved black GSD, Jaeger, who I had for 13 1/2 wonderful years. He, too, was solid black and so beautiful! Thank you for sharing.

  • This is absolutely wonderful. She is a beautiful dog and looks just like my dog Kita who passed from cancer on March 20, 2009. Kita was a beautiful dog, just like Eisblume, and she was my rock. The only thing that keeps me going is I know that one day we will be together again, over the Rainbow Bridge.

  • RIP sweet Eisblume!

  • Recently pulled a dog from the high kill shelter that was an hour away from death that looks just like your pup. You're pup is beautiful, she lived a life any shelter dog will envy.

  • I couldn't help crying looking at her. I am so sorry for your lose. and bless you for making this video. I wish we all can give care and love for animals like you did for Eisblume. She will always be remembered. I will for sure. :((

  • What a beautiful, beautiful baby girl!! You are so blessed to have had her for fourteen years, although it is still not long enough! I am so in love with my two GSD's that I think I would go numb if something happened to either of them. They are truly a gift from God. Thank you so very much for sharing your baby with the world, it was very moving.
