@denver729 i think he quit because inflation screwed up his math. lol i remember when gas was $0.29 a gal and you can buy a full size candy bar for only a nickel.

"Help!" And only about 3 people are shouting. Nowadays, you have the whole audience shouting suggestions before Drew even finishes talking.

They put the totals on the Contestant row displays incase of any malfunctions with the register or any other game. Clever and Bob is very good at masking it up while he is on stage

When was this episode?
-
@denver729 Exactly.
-
wow, the prizes back then are nothing compared to now..
-
You probably can't get parts for that model of cash register...made by Dayton, Ohio based NCR...nowadays.
-
I saw a fur coat as a prize on a 1979 episode.
-
Probably, but wool coats, leather goods, meat, and foreign cars are all now legalised under host Drew Carey, a libertarian who has allowed the show to give away lavish prizes such as suite tickets to NBA, MLS, and NASCAR events.
HDTV also has forced the show to abandon some looks as they are too outdated for today's big televisions.
i think she is a 70's babe....probably liked making out to seals and crofts "summer breeze"...

My opinion, you don't need a cash register! Bob does his math VERY well! :)
