Reva wanders into the police station and asks Mallet if they have anything new on Rafe. Jeffrey's worried that some kook could get his hands on him. Mallet says they have a bit of a lead and wants to call Jeffrey about it. Reva worries about Daisy and asks if anyone is watching her. Mallet tells her to encourage Daisy to come to them if she has any information.

Olivia calls for a cab over to Cedars. After her checkup, the doctor tells her that she's doing fine. She worries about the future, but he tells her to take her time. The doctor leaves and Doris walks in, asking Olivia what happened to Natalia. She's heard that Olivia helped pay for her to leave the country. Olivia felt like she owed her something; she's got her husband's heart after all.

Doris goes in to visit Jeffrey. He's eager to get back to work and pointedly asks her about her cousin Barry, the new chief of police. He asks for the ballistics report, but she reminds him he can't work. She informs him that he's been replaced until he's better and reminds him that he has a conflict of interest in this case in the first place so shouldn't be involved. She walks out.

Mallet comes to visit Jeffrey. He explains that he's been relieved of his duties and Doris is ruining everything. Mallet refuses to go back to being chief, even if it would help out. Jeffrey is sure that they have no chance of fixing things with Mallet demoted. Jeffery announces that he has an idea of where Rafe is. He suggests that he look into things himself and keep a low profile. Mallet agrees and leaves.
