  • I can tell you why non-cycling motorist hate cyclist. They feel convicted of their on lazziness and instead of getting mad at themself for the lazy pricks that they are, they take it out on us.

  • thanks so much for posting this! I didn't find out about the show until after it had happened and it's great you got this up so quickly.

It's great that Lance cares about regular everyday cyclists enough to stand up for us against ranting radio show hosts.

  • @smac919 ok so do you think around a sharp sloping corner, with a car coming behind you, and a car coming the other way that you can't see. while riding "two-abrest" you could maneuver quickly enough to get out of the way of the car coming from behind? i feel like that's extremely dangerous

  • @smac919 we are, legally, allowed to ride two-abrest. I regret to inform you that throwing things at us will just get you reported.

  • i only get angry at cyclists when they ride parallel with eachother, making you have to go completely in the other lane. If u do that, and live in NC, beware of flying milkshakes

  • Thought Lance was a prick but he came off very responsible and sensible.

Good vid if u are a cyclist or a motorist.

  • You people need to get a life.

  • Parents are overprotective about kids going to school on their bikes because of ignorant people like Tony Kornheiser.

  • Someone should run Tony Kornheiser's daughter down, if she really does ride a bike. Kornheiser would then be eating crow for the rest of his life.

  • Sadly, people listen to such rants. Then they act on those rants. It is ESPN's responsibility to disavow Tony's comments as strongly as possible. At a minimum, this means firing him, as well as the associates who were supporting these unspeakably ugly and dangerous comments. ESPN needs to do everything possible to distance itself from Tony K. And maybe Tony will take Lance's suggestion to try riding a bike. Who knows, he might discover the joys of riding, and try cycling to his next job!

  • Tony,

If you ever touch a cyclist on the road, I will see to it that, whatever justice served you by the state, that a fistful of bike tools will be inserted into your skull at the hands of people without cars who have been assaulted by the likes of you.

The worst part is, God knows how many people actually listen to what you're saying.

  • What a legend! Wins the Tour de France and also speaks up for regular cyclists. What a cool spokesman.
